About Ginger McBride

I enlisted in the Air Force at 23, served as a medic and EMT until 1995, and came home with a deep belief that education changes everything. After the military I opened Ginger's TLC Daycare in Texas — a state-certified preschool and childcare center I ran for six years — before returning to school and earning my Bachelor of Science from Wayland Baptist University in 2002.

I've spent the decades since proving that belief in classrooms — 23 years as an AEL teacher in corrections, earning Educator of the Year twice and achieving student progress rates of 74–88% year after year. I also taught at Moberly Area Community College, where I was nominated for the MACC Innovated Award, and since 2018 I've taught ESL online — including 5+ years with QKids and roles with VIPKid, Magic Ears, 51Talk, SayABC, and ZebraEnglish — helping children across the globe learn English.

In 2024, I founded GRDM Publishing, LLC with a mission I've always lived by: inspire, educate, and entertain. I write the books I wish had existed when I was a new teacher, a new homeschool mom, or a new student sitting down with a math textbook that felt impossible.

My educational books come from 30+ years of classroom reality — not theory. My romance novels come from a deep belief in second chances, because I've seen enough of life to know that people deserve them. I live in Missouri, where I wake up early, write before dawn, and believe absolutely that it's never too late to become who you were meant to be.
